@Kerry-O please close the App completely (meaning also closing it when it is still running in the background). After the restart, the App and the language setting will be correct again. Our team is already working on providing a hotfix for that issue. it should be available in the following days.
I'm having a bit of a problem...games are locking up and I am being kicked for timeouts. The game shows me connect the dice belongs to another player but I've been kicked several times now. It is effecting my score - I was a grandmaster when these problems started.
I am having the same problem. After the update, the game is hanging frequently. Shows me as an AI player whereas I am logged in and I can see other people trading. Sometimes there is no activity and I have to restart the game.
Thank you for your reply! It seems everything is working correctly now. I had purchased game extensions prior to the most current update release but for whatever reason would not work “offline/airplane mode”. This seems to be corrected now since the new update. Thanks once again!
So you want players to not be able to make the best moves they can during each of their turns? Sometimes the moves have to be longer than the default amount. The system should not penalize players for that.
@V-Man That loss of cities happens according to the rules. Most players frown upon this strategy, and I personally dislike it, but it really is legit. Just find players who do not use this strategy, put them in your friend list, and you´ll be ok.
Our dev team is working on solutions for the issue. You should see a decrease in failed initializations over time because right now we still see players not having upgraded to version 1.8.2. Version 1.8.1 causes right now the mentioned issues in the multiplayer. That's why we are urging all players (you excluded since you already updated) to get the patch as fast as possible.
