Stuck on "searching for players"

After using a scroll to try seafarers, I am unable to play The Game I constantly get "searching for players".
I do not have any filters selected. I have logged off and on a couple of times.
Suggestions please?

@kennyj2020 you could try to clear the cache of the App as well if you are on a phone. Also, make sure to scroll down the filter section to really double-check if any are activwe
