Dice Algorithm Desperately Needs to be Fixed
Robert the Conqueror
The dice rolling algorithm desperately needs to be fixed. There is literally no point in playing the odds, which takes all the strategy and fun out of the game. I keep playing games where there are twice as many 3s and 11s than 6s or 8s. 5s and 10s seem to be the more common than 6s and 8s too. I wish the dice rolling was more like the board game instead of totally unrealistic.
No response. Surprise, surprise. Don't you know that they can do no wrong? I actually copied the algorithm they posted in another post, pasted it into a new topic and broke down the flaws in the algorithm. Not only did they not respond, they deleted the topic. I wasn't flaming or name calling or using exclamatory notation, they just had no answer, could not refute the logic presented, so they just deleted the topic. Are you playing card stack mode when this happens? Because, strange things like this do happen in genuine pure random sets... but it shouldn't in card stack mode. However, it does often, very often happen in that mode because their algorithm, though well intentioned I believe ends up being random as well!
