Cards disappering without being stolen or used.

I have noticed that cards are disappearing without them being stolen or used. I have on many occasions had 6 of a card and then poof they are gone. No seven was rolled and no one stole them.

Wow, all six of your cards vanished?!?
I haven’t experienced this one.

Yes i had 6 stone and poof gone. Another time i had 4 brick and poof gone.

Are you sure another player didn't play the Resource Monopoly card? That would explain why all the cards of a certain type disappeared from your hand. Though, usually there is an animation which shows the cards flying across the board to the player who stole them.
