Random map does not work under single player Ore for Wool game.
@ElusiveKevan07 That is intentional for now since you we want to make sure the special rules can be played out the way they should be played out.
How many times does this have to come up? You can randomize the map in a way that has a random map but has low numbers on the ore hexes. This is what anyone with common sense assumes how the scenario works. Always forcing the same map to players is not a right thing to do.
Randomizing the map for this scenario:
First place the numbers on the hex positions. You can randomly decide where the desert goes this way too.
Then place the hexes what have specific requirements under the correct numbers numbers.
Then place all other hexes randomly.
This is not hard. 3 days development time for one person max.
