Unable to join guild

Hey guys,

I've tried to join the guild of a friend, but it won't let me ...

I've read that there are issues when you're trying to join while the "guild boss" is offline, but i tried again as he was online and he didn't receive my join inquiry... (i also had to click around multiple times and tried to join other guilds before i could send a new inquiry for the one i wanted to join).

Is there any way to solve this?
