Rivals game hung when starting up

I started a Rivals game and it hung on this screen:
https://imgur.com/a/QjSbMThere is some weird debug text over the cards and nothing happened. I waited over 5 mins. I had to exit the game.

I have encountered this bug several times as well (I would guess in 1/10 games on average). It has occured on Steam as well as in the browser version. I already reported the issue 3 weeks ago (https://forum.catanuniverse.com/topic/3466/catan-das-duell-friert-häufig-direkt-zu-beginn-ein-komischer-fehlerbildschirm).
@administrators: Are you aware of this problem and have you already been able to figure out where it comes from?

Yes, after playing a bunch more I'd say every 1 out of 10 games is about right. Had this happen 3 times to me now so far.

We are aware of that issue but still have to investigate why this is happening sporadically. Thanks for the report and screenshot.
